Vestry Candidates
Courtney Browning
Courtney Browning is a cradle Episcopalian raised in Wetumpka, Alabama where she attended Trinity Church. She has been a massage therapist for over 25 years and has operated her own successful practice in Germantown for the past 5 years. She married her high school sweetheart at Church of the Annunciation Episcopal and they have 3 children Pierce (17) Roman (12) and Aeryn (8). She is active in the PTA and helps plan events for the Germantown School District.
Bob Klesges
Bob Klesges is a professor of Cancer Prevention and Control at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and telecommutes from his home office in Germantown. He has been a member of Holy Apostles for more than 10 years. Bob is regularly seen at the Bluegrass Mass, where he serves as a Lector and as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Bob is honored to be nominated as a Vestry member and looks forward to serving in this vital role.
Terena Robert
Terena Robert has been a part of the Holy Apostles community since moving to Memphis from her native India in 1999. She has a deep love for music, and she quickly found a place of service, singing in the Holy Apostles choir for the past 25 years. Through the years, Terena has also volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, helped with Vacation Bible School, and assisted with hospitality.
Her whole family is involved with the church; her daughters have both served as acolytes and youth volunteers, and her mother, Ruby, is a member of the altar guild.
Terena works as a supervisor at the Shelby County Circuit Court. She enjoys cooking, participating in local Indian cultural events, and spending time with her daughters, Amelia and Kaavya.
Terena says “Holy Apostles has always been a love, caring, and welcoming community to me and others. This church has kept me close through difficult times, and celebrated my blessings.”
