Holy Apostles offers a vibrant community life with numerous opportunities to grow in faith and friendship, from youth activities and sewing circles to Bible studies and fellowship events.
Building & Grounds
This hands-on group collaborates closely with parish staff to oversee the upkeep and improvement of our facilities and grounds. Whether performing routine maintenance or working on special projects, their work ensures that our church environment remains welcoming and beautiful.
Hospitality
Our “Heavenly Hosts” teams rotate to provide food and fellowship for the parish family after the 10 a.m. service and during the Rector’s Forum hour. These teams come together for special celebrations, such as Easter, the Bishop’s visit, the Fall kickoff, the Annual Parish meeting, and other church-wide events. This joyful and rewarding ministry adds warmth and community to our parish life.
Women’s Group
The Women’s Group provides a space for fellowship, spiritual growth, and community service. They meet for Bible studies, support church events, and participate in outreach initiatives. This group is a nurturing environment for women of all ages to connect and deepen their faith.
Men’s Group
The Men’s Group regularly gathers to foster Christian fellowship and volunteer for service days, responding to various church and community needs. They also host basketball in the Parish Life Center every Tuesday.
Book Clubs
Holy Apostles offers two monthly book discussion opportunities:
- Reading with Holy Apostles: This group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, alternating between fiction and non-fiction selections.
- Banned Book Club: This group meets on the third Friday of each month to discuss books included on the American Library Association’s banned book list, offering a space for reflection and lively convers
"Graze in Grace" Wednesday Dinner
Every Wednesday during the school year, we gather for a simple, nourishing meal provided by the church staff or contributed by parishioners. This mid-week dinner offers a chance to socialize outside Sunday services, followed by choir practice.
Prime Timers
The Prime Timers group, dedicated to fun, friendship, and learning, is for our more senior members. They meet monthly for a potluck lunch and a presentation or speaker. The group also enjoys trips to museums, the zoo, game nights, dinner gatherings, holiday celebrations, and other events that provide connection and enjoyment.
Saints and Dinners Small Group
Designed to help parishioners get to know each other better, this small group program meets for lunch or dinner several times yearly. It’s a fantastic way to connect with people you see at church but may not know well, fostering deeper relationships within the community.
